1. What is the difference between a cotton hammock and a parachute fabric hammock?

Cotton is ultra-soft, breathable, and aesthetic, ideal for sedentary use in the garden. Parachute fabric (nylon) is extremely light, rot-proof, and compact, making it the perfect ally for hiking and camping.

2. Is a hammock good for your back?

Yes, absolutely! In a classic hammock (without spreader bars), the weight is distributed evenly, eliminating pressure points. The ideal position (diagonal) promotes a natural spinal curve and can even help you fall asleep faster.

3. How do I know if my garden is suitable for a hammock?

You need two solid anchor points (trees, posts, or walls). If you don't have trees or if the space is too large, the ideal solution is to opt for a self-supporting steel stand.

 Installation and Technique

4. What is the minimum space required to set up a hammock?

For a classic 3-meter hammock, allow for a spacing of approximately 2.70 m to 3.20 m. If you lack space, opt for a hammock chair that only requires a single attachment point on the ceiling or a branch.

5. How to securely attach my hammock to a wall?

Use dowels and hooks specifically designed for heavy loads. Make sure the wall is made of solid material (concrete, brick, stone). Absolutely avoid plasterboard (BA13) which would not support lateral tension.

6. Is it difficult to assemble a hammock stand?

No, our stands are designed to be assembled in 10 minutes. Most steel models interlock with a clip system.

 Care and Longevity

7. Can my hammock get moldy if it rains?

If it's a cotton model, yes. If it gets wet, it must be dried flat before being folded. For permanent outdoor use, we recommend our ranges made of weather-resistant synthetic fibers.

8. How to protect my hammock during winter?

We recommend taking it down, washing it, and storing it in a dry place away from rodents (who love to nest in ropes!) in their included covers.

 Safety and Guarantees

9. Can children use the hammock alone?

The hammock is a great playground, but adult supervision is recommended, especially for spreader bar models that can tip over. For young children, opt for a hammock installed very close to the ground.

10. What does the warranty for your products include?

All our hammocks are guaranteed for 2 years against any manufacturing defect (seams, ropes, eyelets). The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear due to UV rays or damage caused by overloading.
